Regarding the potential working relationship between WWE and EVOLVE/DGUSA parent company WWN that was recently revealed, a source notes that WWE is indeed getting serious about the deal. Something similar has been discussed within WWE in passing for a few years now but there is serious motivation to pursue it now.

Word is that WWE is looking to make a low six-figure annual investment in WWN, which would help them run more events and sign more talents. WWE would presumably have first access to any talent they want without having to worry about a talent appearing on national TV or already having signed away their licensing.

On a related note, WWE is very high on Rich Swann and will likely be offering him a deal in September.
