Hero Refunds through FTMScan [Guide]
As mentioned in the previous announcement - please refer to the following guide on how to refund your hero now that the site is offline:
How to redeem FantomHeroes refunds via ftmscan:
1. Go to ftmscan, search the contract address for Fantom Heroes Refund Contract - 0x1C699963d8fE26192aC9fc2823ADfaBD4e61AFD7
2. Select ‘Contract’ Tab
3. Select ‘Write Contract’ Button and Attach your metamask wallet by clicking the red dot
4. Enter the nft Id for the nft you want to refund in the box that says ‘_nftId’, the 'payableAmount' bock should be left empty, and press write. This will trigger a transaction. Approve the MetaMask popup
5. If transaction is successful you will have your refund in the wallet and your NFT will be moved our of the wallet and locked in the refund contract.
Quick Reminder on Refund Restrictions/Rules:
- You can only return Gen 0 heroes that were minted on FantomHeroes.com
- You can only return Gen 0 heroes that you currently own in your own wallet.
- Giveaway heroes cannot be refunded as they were given away for free (0 $FTM)
- The amount the NFT was minted for will be returned to your connected wallet.
- The hero NFT will be transferred to the return contract. You will no longer own the NFT if you choose to return it.
- This is an irreversible transaction as there is no way to get hero NFTs out of the refund contract and they will be locked in there forever.
- Heroes must be refunded one at a time, this is a security precaution.
