Xsplit vs OBS - They're both good. I prefer Xsplit because it's got a better UI and is generally more user-friendly for the kind of shows I do. It's also what I learned first and if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Xsplits way of letting you edit scenes without making them go live is essential for my tournament work and making on the fly adjustments and its pretty effortless, so I like that. I believe OBS has something similar but its a bit clunkier. Ultimately you're not going to go wrong with streaming with either of them. The only issue I have with OBS is not with the program but with its evangelists. I swear some of the most irritating people I've found online are people that zealously preach about OBS as if its the savior of the internet and Xsplit is the dark lord Satan. I've taken to calling them JehOBS Witnesses. "Do you have a moment to talk about our lord and savior OBS?" "No, please stop knocking on my door".
