An Open Letter to fellow citizens:

A heartfelt attempt to establish the truth

Since a long time now, there have been messages circulated on social networking platforms, stating that Mr Shah Rukh Khan had, on record, made a statement about leaving India, if Mr Modi were to become the Prime Minister of our country. These messages have now lowered their strata, and lost their dignity (similar to the filthy souls spreading them) by going on to question SRK's patriotism and integrity, which is quite saddening and disturbing, taking into consideration, his countless contributions to this country of ours.

Hence, to set the records straight, Mr. Shah Rukh Khan hasn't made any such statement(s). In fact, this whole accusation, (which is totally fake, and developed out of some imposter's creativity) has arisen due to a giant misinterpretation, (deliberate, or not) and a very widespread circulation of this baseless and made-up claim.

The Truth is, in fact, that such a statement was made by a small time "celebrity," Mr Kamaal R. Khan, on the microblogging site, 'Twitter.' Mr Kamaal Khan, trying to gain mileage without using fuel, therefore adapted a shortened version of his name, KRK trying to sound similar to 'SRK'. Mr Kamaal Khan is known in the social media circle  for his often controversial statements. About some days ago, he went on to tweet as:

"It's my challenge to entire world that if Modi ji will become next pm, then I will leave not only Twitter but India also forever"

The most pathetic part is, some illiterates (or literate hatemongers) could not differentiate the 'S' from the 'K' and thus began a series of unethical, untrue and immoral personal attacks on Mr Shah Rukh Khan.

The BJP has already taken a stand, dismissing all the rumours, and clarifying that it was KRK, and not SRK behind the controversial statement. Also to be noted, is the point that Mr Modi had himself tweeted to Mr Shah Rukh Khan about creating voter awareness, which he would not have, if the rumour were to be true. Also to clarify, Mr Shah Rukh Khan always avoids making political statements declaring himself as apolitical. He has always been amongst those who're responsible for the immense love and acceptance India receives worldwide. He's the "padmabhushan," third highest civilian honour awardee of India, a feat highly remarkable, and it is utterly pathetic on our part to even read such false allegations about a fellow citizen of his strata.

I therefore, put on a heartfelt request, to stop spreading such inappropriate, baseless and sheer false messages being passed on by some imbeciles. I also urge you to pass this message on, through whatever social media platform available, and contribute in restoring an honest, citizen's pride and honour. Please remember, this is not about a particular person, but about a fellow citizen who's done no wrong doing for which he is being held guilty.

I also understand that it is very difficult to believe something like this without a valid proof. Hence to prove my point, I'm posting the web links, to some important tweets:
