ATTENTION BELIEBERS, WE HAVE A CODE PURPLE!! #JustinForMakayla
Makayla is a 4 year old girl, who is exactly like the rest of us...Except for one thing. She has a very aggressive form of brain cancer, who only around 50 people in the last 70 years have had.
Makayla and her family found out in December, and from there she was diagnosed. On January 7th, 2013 Makayla had her first brain surgery. They completely removed the tumor, however this form of cancer is so aggressive that it spreads very easily. They had to relocate to Houston where she underwent the most intense 5-day-a-week chemo and radiation treatment. She now is back at home in Southern California for 9 more months of chemotherapy. They do not know if the cancer has spread to other places in her body yet, but it is very likely.
This is where you guys come in. She is going to Justin's concert on June 24th, 2013 at the Staple Center in LA. A friend of her parents won tickets and very generously gave them to Makayla and her mother. The day after Justin's concert, Makayla starts chemotherapy again so this is the ONLY chance she has to meet Justin, who keeps her smiling through everything she has and will endure.
