Good news regarding an LTE toggle. I think i've built one successfully, but can't test it myself, as i'm not on an LTE carrier.

It's an 'adaptive' 3G or LTE toggle. Basically, it'll toggle between your fastest support network mode, and the one a step down. i.e: 3G/2G or LTE/3G.

I've built a tool that i need willing testers to install. It's available on my repo- http://cydia.myrepospace.com/JamieD360 and is called LTEToggleTest.

After installing, respring. It's a Notification Center widget, so firstly enable it from Settings > Notifications > LTEToggleTest - Show in Notification Center [ON].

It'll show 'X On' or 'X Off'. X being your fastest supported network mode.

Tap to toggle.

If you have an LTE carrier, you SHOULD see 'LTE On/Off'. It will toggle between LTE and 3G.

If you have an non-LTE carrier, you SHOULD see '3G On/Off'. It will toggle between 3G and 2G.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd like testers to report on the following:
- That it accurately detects LTE or 3G.
- That it successfully toggles between the states (detailed above).

Please bear in mind, currently, the status bar's data icon may not update instantly to reflect the TRUE state of your 2G/3G/LTE connection.

To ensure it has toggled successfully, look in Settings > General > Mobile Data - Enable 3G/LTE. You will likely have to CLOSE and REOPEN Settings (or tap back to General then back in) for the switch to update!

Or test your speeds with Safari, to be sure!

Thanks to anyone who tests!
Hopefully, i can get an LTE toggle in NCSettings soon. :)

Peace.
