@greglemond inspires some of the most humorous cycling Clinic forum posts I've ever read. I treat with disdain (and am yet amused by) the anonymous trolls who surface regularly in "The Clinic" and unbelievably and weakly, yet also incessantly, allege and argue that LeMond must've doped - despite the absence of ANY evidence to support such a loathsome and implausible claim - when even a casual comparison of Greg's career with that of so many post-Festina GT "winners" (or even that of pre-Festina proto-robot, Indurain) reveals a truly stark contrast b/w natural talent and "engineered"-talent. And by virtue of its very nature, natural talent is the kind for which you can't simply substitute a box of ampoules. Well, maybe you can for a GT or two; a year or two; maybe even for longer than half a decade if you organize behind an entire mafia that supports and facilitates your cheating.
But anyone who wants to know and see the truth will be able to. And that's why, no matter how much mud is slung at LeMond, his palmarés wipe clean as if they were coated with teflon.
